For my Audio story I told the story about how I love football. I used a few different clips audio clips of interviews I did with friends in my dorm. I also detailed by myself in how I love football. In audition I then edited it together to make work together. I first had trouble cutting it and then uploading to my page. I feel I do need to had a little more background sound that or clips that would fit in between the interview and my story. However, I also need to work some background sound out of the first interview. I might also have in a couple more interviews so that there is more content in the story so that there are more perspectives on my topic. For my first-time using audition through the tutorials and the story I felt that it has been fun because it is something different than I am used to using. I had never had that much experience working with sound software like this and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the new experience and I am excited to hear what feedback that I will get to help me further better my audio story. I will be going back to the tutorials to further my knowledge of editing the clips so I can get them to a point where they are perfectly mixed together. This story is far from being where I want it but I will continue in this next week to get this project to where I exactly want it. I always like the challenges that are presented and this project has really helped me think in different ways in how to tell my story of why football is my favorite sport and why football is my passion and how it has pushed me to strive for my goal of a future career in sports broadcasting.
Something I like about your audio story is that you incorporated personal details. For example, how the game of football is something you enjoy, a way to bond with family and your personal dreams, such as becoming a broadcaster one day. Your audio story is interesting but there are a few things I would change to take it to the next level. First, if possible, I would redo the interview in the beginning because the background noises were a little distracting. Next, I would write out a script or main points so there is a flow. Also, take your time during the recordings. Around 53 seconds, the audio got quiet, so I would increase the volume level to match the other sections. Lastly, I think adding some music or ambient noises (such as football tackles, whistles, etc.) would be a great addition. Overall, great job and I am excited for your final.

Hello, this is Tyler Smith a peer in your com210 class. First off I have a couple critiques of the audio you have posted. First thing I would change would be to re-record the introductory quote in an area where there is no background noise taking away focus from the listener. Secondly I would cut down on statement that don’t really add to your topic such as “Football is the best and fun to always watch”. It sounds awkward and does not add to the narrative. I would also cut down on the pauses and the slight stuttering that happens during casual conversation. This can also be said for the fiddling with the mic and other background noises in the audio. I would recommend that you re-record and this time focus on a narrative and attempt to get more casual narration. Other than that I think you did a good job and cant wait to see that your final looks like!
