For the flier project the last project in my portfolio we were given information, and photos and had to put them together and make a flier for a meeting at Pullman School district and the Superintendent of Schools.

What I learned:
What I learned from this project was how to make a flier from information that I was given and put it together in Adobe InDesign. I also learned how to make shapes so that it could work together to make a broader around the information.
For this project we had to make a promotion for Washington State University’s Cougs cancel COVID campaign. We had to take a picture from around the WSU Pullman campus or one of the other WSU campuses. Then we had to put it together with Photoshop and information about what recommendations. that people could do to help prevent the spread of COVID-19

What I learned:
What I learned doing this project was how to take my own photos and make it my own while also making it a promotion for WSU.
Description: The third project that I put in my portfolio we had to make a print ad. We had to choose a National park to do the ad for. The part that I choose was San Juan National Park because it was a national park that I have been to before and I liked it a lot.

What I learned:
What I learned from doing the print ad project was how to make and ad just using Microsoft word. I never really thought about using word for a project like this. I also learned how to put images together to make the ad work well.
The second project in my portfolio is the boring image project. With this project we were given an image that was boring and had to make it into an interesting story. For this project I add a couple images and cut down and image of Mars to look like an asteroid. It was not what I was originally planning to do but once it was cut down enough it look like an asteroid. I also added the moon and a couple pictures of a swan.

What I learend:
What I learned from this project was how to insert images into Photoshop and take a picture and make it my own story. I learned how to play with the hue and saturation. I also learned how to play with brightness and contrast.
The first project in my portfolio is my Icon Project. For this project we had to make a set of nine icons that had theme that went together. For mine I am sports guy so I decided to do nine different sports that use a ball.

What I learned:
What I learned from this project was how to make different shapes and form them into images to make them look like icons. I also learned how to use different colors. There are so many colors that go with different icons to fit them into a theme that worked well together.
Throughout the semester we did four different projects that were different in many ways. My favorite project was the audio story because we gave me an opportunity to tell my story through a different way other than the written from and without pictures to tell the story. The skills I learned in this course that will help me in the future was the audio story and putting different audio clips together. Also, I believe that I might use the skills that I learned in the Photoshop unit to use in making different kind of photoshop pictures. The career path that see in the future is sports broadcasting for some sports network. The projects that I plan to use or might be influence my chosen career path is the audio story because I will be announcing. There is not a skill that I wish that I would have learned because I felt I learned a lot in this coursework. Yes, I found that the SoundCloud website very useful in helping me finish projects and the resources provided by the course were also very helpful and helped me learned how to finish my projects on time. After, everything in this course I felt it was a very helpful course in helping me learn. I really enjoyed this course. I feel a lot of students would benefit from learning this course and trying to push themselves. I had to push myself a lot to figure out how to finish all the projects. I also had to think in different ways when trying to finish every project. This course gave me an opportunity to tell a story in a way I have never been able to tell it. It was fun and I would really wish to continue to tell this story more outside of the class. I would like to thank everyone who followed and this story is not finished yet.
Unfortunately, I was able to upload my video because of issues with it. What the project was suppose to be was a video that included shots from this past football season. Also, there was going to be some of the projects from the semester. I am very disappointed that I was not able to figure out how to upload my project. I thought it was going to be really good. I learned a lot from using premiere and it was a fun time. I thought I worked really hard but I did not figure out what I was doing wrong in uploading the video. What I was trying to do was tell my story of why I love football and why it means so much to me. Football is and will always be my favorite sport. I enjoy being able to watch games every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I thought that this video project would fully bring the story around. It is a big disappointment that I couldn’t upload it to show the rest of the story. Football has always been important to me. I love the sport. The hitting, the players trying to score touchdowns. The fans cheering in the stands. There is nothing better to me every fall. Millions of people love the sport and I am one of them. This is why I want my profession to be around football so I can bring the sport to the next generation. I want to be able to share my love of the sport to this next generation. I have always found that present day announcers always share their love for football. I always like listening to announcers like Al Michaels. Every Sunday I like hearing his voice and someday I hope to be in his place as the Sunday Night Football announcer. Again disappointed that the video did not upload but I was happy to share my story.
After getting feedback from my peers I went back and edited my audio story so it was to the point where it was better. First, I added some crowed noise of people cheering at a football game. After that moved the interviews so that the crowed noise could be the introduction. Here I am trying my story of why I love football. I am trying to tell the story of why I got into football. I am trying to say tell the story of why I want to continue to be apart of football. Some people say it is just a game and that people invest to much into it. That is honestly true but, to me I may put too much time into but I love the game and I want it to continue being part of my life. There are a lot of people who are like this. Does this mean I am going to let this take over my life? Absolutely not, but to me football will always be apart of me. That is the kind of story that I am trying to tell here. It is a story of one person’s passion and love for sport. We all have our different kinds of passions, and things we love. Some people love their country that they go into the military to defend it. Some people, love basketball, others baseball. Also, music and the performing arts. There are all kinds of things people do. For me it is football. That is why I am telling this story. The fun part of this story is it continues to be written every day. It is not finish being written and it will not be finish for a long time. This .story of me and football will be a working story until the day I pass. This is just the beginning
For my Audio story I told the story about how I love football. I used a few different clips audio clips of interviews I did with friends in my dorm. I also detailed by myself in how I love football. In audition I then edited it together to make work together. I first had trouble cutting it and then uploading to my page. I feel I do need to had a little more background sound that or clips that would fit in between the interview and my story. However, I also need to work some background sound out of the first interview. I might also have in a couple more interviews so that there is more content in the story so that there are more perspectives on my topic. For my first-time using audition through the tutorials and the story I felt that it has been fun because it is something different than I am used to using. I had never had that much experience working with sound software like this and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the new experience and I am excited to hear what feedback that I will get to help me further better my audio story. I will be going back to the tutorials to further my knowledge of editing the clips so I can get them to a point where they are perfectly mixed together. This story is far from being where I want it but I will continue in this next week to get this project to where I exactly want it. I always like the challenges that are presented and this project has really helped me think in different ways in how to tell my story of why football is my favorite sport and why football is my passion and how it has pushed me to strive for my goal of a future career in sports broadcasting.
